TKC Top Toys 2026: Our Christmas Picks 🎄

Christmas might feel like a while off yet, but if you've ever tried to track down the toy of the season in December, you'll know the early bird gets the wish list sorted. So we're kicking things off with TKC Top Toys 2026: our pick of the toys we think will be loved this year, not just unwrapped.

Christmas shopping rarely comes down to one big present, so we’ve put our list together the way most families actually shop: a showstopper or two, a few firm favourites, and plenty of little surprises for the stocking. You’ll find them below as our Christmas Heroes, Must-Haves and Stocking Fillers.

This year we're seeing families lean back into shared play: collaborative building, imaginative role play and getting active indoors and out. There's also a real return to the toy box itself, with families choosing fewer, better toys that everyone can get stuck into together.

Louise, our Buyer, says: "Every year we spend months getting hands-on with new launches and firm favourites alike, and this list is the result of that: the toys we genuinely believe will be loved, not just unwrapped. It's a real mix this year, from sensory play to imaginative role play, and there's something on there for every age and interest."

Charis, our Marketing Manager, adds: "Christmas lists can get overwhelming, so with TKC Top Toys we wanted to give families a shortlist they can trust, made up of toys we've watched children genuinely fall in love with. Whether you're after one big gift or a stocking full of little ones, everything on here has earned its place."
